Dear McCrabby,
I often see your posts and wonder what you are trying to do with this blog? I believe those that truly want to work are back to work and those that don’t are still at home. Age,sex, race are probably not the reason people aren't being hired.
Employed & Annoyed

Dear Annoyed,
Really? That's what you think?? Really? Wow , your insight is uh, ahhh, well... insightful. Or, inciteful. You have incited several people, some of which left comments on this blog, which of course has no relevance to you.
McCrabby tries not to insult readers - we like readers... But, let's ask a question, or two:
Do you realize that 12 per cent of all gulf-war veterans are unemployed? Did you know that the number goes to 29 per cent for veterans between the ages of 18 and 24?
Did you know that 18.2 per cent of workers are "under-employed?"
Or, that 25 per cent of student loans are in default?
Did you hear the fact that four of ten unemployed workers, over 50, have been out of work for more than one year?
Last week, it was announced that the unemployment rate for African Americans is 14 per cent.
Have you read about the firms that advertise to hire only employed people for their job openings?
Cities are going broke, small businesses cannot afford benefits for their employees, past executives are working for minimum wage, if they're working at all, jobs are being offered on temporary 1099-contracts, sales jobs are commission-only, and employers are squeezing existing employees to stay profitable.
How about a presidential candidate who says, "I don’t care what the unemployment rate is going to be” even though he didn't "mean it."
Yes Annoyed, you must be right. As you said, "Age,sex, race are probably not the reason people aren't being hired." Everyone that wants to work is working. I guess my job here is done. Now I need to find something else to do -- wanna hire me, Annoyed??
At least you're working, right? Are you in HR?
